S&K Logistics Services Customer Statement on COVID-19
To our valued Customers, Business Partners and Colleagues:
Due to the rising concerns, we deemed it appropriate to make a statement regarding the actions that we are taking in response to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
S&K Logistics Services, LLC has been identified as part of the “Defense Industrial Base Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce” due to our role in delivery of components and materials to meet U.S. Military requirements, and further identified as “mission essential” in support of prime contractors and their obligations to the U.S. Department of Defense. In efforts to act in the most responsible way possible towards our customers, suppliers and employees, as well as our local and global communities, we are implementing a Business Plan adopting the following steps:
Personal safety – The safety of our customers, suppliers and our team members is our top priority. We are closely monitoring and following all directives from public health officials and government agencies, including travel restrictions. We understand that some of these travel restrictions affect servicing our loyal customers; therefore, we are prepared to provide support services via phone, video conferencing, and online meetings when travel is not possible.
SKLS remains open for business and not expecting any impact on service; however, taking numerous steps to ensure the health of our teammates including remote work when possible, social distancing on-site, and enhanced cleaning procedures.
We are here to support you – SKLS continues to function normally. Sales and customer service are not impacted at this time and SKLS remains fully operational. We have strong contingency plans in place and will continue to closely monitor this developing situation.
We appreciate your patience and understanding. We will keep you informed of any additional updates as we work together to support you, our valued customer, while prioritizing the health and safety of all.
We are in this together – At this time, our service levels will remain the same with the limitations stated above. We will continue to work with our employees and suppliers to ensure we are all prepared to maintain a quality level of service to our customers while taking any health precautions necessary.
