Moab Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action (UMTRA)
In Utah, we’ve supported the Moab Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action (UMTRA) for over 10 years. In partnership with Pro2Serve, our work contributes to the safe removal of residual radioactive materials from the Moab site to a U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission-approved disposal cell 30 miles North near Crescent Junction, Utah. Duties include:
• project integration and management,
• IT and telecommunications,
• ground water and surface water monitoring,
• radiological site characterization
• revegetation,
• environment, safety and health support,
• records management,
• public affairs/community relations,
• property management, and
• quality assurance
